Alibaba Group recently released financial results showing that its cloud computing business generated nearly 20 billion yuan in the third quarter of fiscal year 2022, of which non-Internet customers contributed more than half of the revenue.In the third quarter of Alibaba’s fiscal year 2022, ending December 31, 2021, the cloud business generated 19.539 billion yuan in revenue, up 20 percent year-on-year, after offsetting the impact of cross-segment transactions.In addition, Alibaba also disclosed that the revenue composition of its cloud computing business is becoming more diversified, with the customer revenue from non-Internet industries rising steadily in the third quarter, accounting for 52% of the total revenue of Aliyun in the quarter.Alibaba also disclosed in its earnings report that adjusted EBITA of its cloud business swung to a profit of 134 million yuan in the current quarter from a loss of 221 million yuan in the same period last fiscal year.It is worth noting that Alibaba also disclosed in the financial results that Ali Cloud provides cloud computing services in 25 regions around the world;It also added two data centers in Korea and Thailand in the Asia Pacific region.Alibaba cloud container service Kubernetes edition has been fully upgraded to ACK Anywhere, enabling enterprise customers to experience low-cost, low-latency and localized public cloud products in any type of data center.Although, Ali cloud in the third quarter of the fiscal year on year still maintain a strong momentum of growth, but this quarter’s revenue, in fact, less than the previous quarter, the fiscal quarter ali Cloud revenue of 200.07 billion yuan, is the first time more than 20 billion yuan.
